Cryptozoology is probably my favorite paranormal subject. Post up your evidence or experiences here.

So far, the only great evidence I've seen or heard was gathered by Josh Gates of Destination Truth:

In early December 2007, American television presenter Joshua Gates and his team (Destination Truth) reported finding a series of footprints in the Everest region of Nepal resembling descriptions of Yeti. Each of the footprints measured 13 in in length with five toes that measured a total of 9.8 in across. Casts were made of the prints for further research.



The footprints were examined by Jeffrey Meldrum of Idaho State University, who believed them to be too morphologically accurate to be fake or man made. Meldrum also stated that they were very similar to a pair of Bigfoot footprints that were found in another area.



Then, during the 3rd season mid finale visit to Bhutan, Gates' team found a hair sample on a tree that they took back to have analyzed. After it was tested, it was concluded that the hair belonged to an unknown primate.

Gates' findings were added to this museum:

This is a casting of a mysterious footprint discovered in December of 2007 by explorer Joshua Gates and his team in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal. This is the best preserved of three prints, which were found in sequence near a river in the Khumbu Valley, at an altitude of about 10,000 ft.

U.S. Experts have scanned each of the prints and have concluded that they are anatomically legitimate and represent a significant find. This scan shows the heel from one partial footprint (In blue) superimposed on the larger print (In grey). The two match almost exactly which indicates that they are real footprints left by an unknown bipedal animal in the wild.

Joshua Gates is an American explorer and photographer and donated this footprint to The Yeti Museum in April of 2008. One of only three castings, this footprint represents the first 21st Century evidence of the Yeti.

And actually I do have one spooooky story. One night, about 2 or 3 AM or something, I went outback to have a smoke. (again??)

As I walked outside, I felt a uneasy feeling in my gut. Something was out there, I could sense it. I turned the back porch light on, which illuminated the entire backyard.

A few minutes passed, and suddenly I heard a large crack, quickly followed several more tree limbs rustling and snapping.

With a thud, a fat, long, white cat landed in the middle of my yard and immediately ran off.

This was the closest I've come to having a heart attack.

I froze for about 10 seconds, grabbing my balls in a standing self-defense fetal position.

Was this the infamous longcat? Or a breed of alien fatcat? Or just a regular fat long white cat?

I have not seen it since. All I know is that it landed about 10 feet from the nearest tree branch.

I realize this sounds contrived, but last night I posted this post ^^^ (kind of humorously I might add) and went out to have a smoke (againnnn??) before going to bed.

Like thirty seconds after lighting up, the sound of another fucking huge tree branch breaking occurred on the other side of the yard, scaring the shit out of me but nothing fell to the ground. It was extremely... irritating? because that never happens, but I think its a very, very odd coincidence. It was very loud, not sure if it was in fact a tree branch, but startling to say the least. I cursed a few times at it.

Then when I went inside, this large, heavy wind chime which we have hanging inside the house above the fireplace (I don't know why its there either) started slowly clanking, which also never happens. So I went to bed, cursing under my breath and grabbing my nuts in a scared fashion.
